Hi, I'm Alex and I'm a Software Engineer.

I'm a software engineer mainly focused on frontend with about 6 years of experience. In my work, I always pay attention to details and think about the end users of a product. I care about performance, accessibility, UI/UX, maintainability and scalability. I'm passionate about open-source so in my free time I spend time learning different open-source projects and contributing to them. Engaging in open-source projects allows me to learn new practices, technologies, and patterns, continuously expanding and enhancing my own skills.

At datarockets, I had an opportunity to be a team lead and an enginnering manager of one team. As a team lead, I was closely connected with the client, planed the work for the near future, estimated it, ensured that everything works well. As EM, I was responsible for making sure that everyone on the team is happy, building a growth plan for engineers. I also had experience of being a technical interviewer in the hiring team. As an engineer, I had a chance to work with many different stacks (frontend, backend, desktop app, debian packages, etc.). I successfully implemented UI Kit and redesign of a web app.

Profiles is a service for specialists from different domains. Users can easily find some specialists and the specialists can engage users. I was responsible for developing frontend of Profiles.

Frontend Playground

The idea of this project was to have an environment where I can try new things on frontend. During this project I tried the new Next.js app directory, serverless components, and Tailwind for the first time. I also made a UI design and learned Figma quite a lot.

Tour Guide Landing Page

Landing page for an individual tour guide. This project was for a private local tour guide. The client needed a website that tells about their services, shows a list of excursions and their contacts.
